Peter is an experienced home mortgage professional with over 19 years of experience in Lending & Finance. Buying a home is one of the most important, yet difficult decisions that consumers make. Peter’s passion and motivation in this business comes from seeing the smile on his clients face every time he helps them achieve their homeownership goals. He understands the level of responsibility associated with his career and takes pride in applying his years of experience, both personal and professional. Peter focuses on educating his clients in the home-buying process while finding them the best home loan program that suits their needs.
Peter is fluent in Arabic, Armenian and English. In his spare time, Peter enjoys going to the gym and spending time with his wife and two young daughters. They like exploring the outdoors, watching planes land at LAX and traveling.

Matthew Michael Aghazarian earned his degree in Brain Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where his passion for understanding the human mind began. After graduating, he was drawn to the mortgage industry—motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives.
Matthew has been in the mortgage industry for over a year, gaining valuable hands-on experience helping clients achieve their homeownership and financial goals. At Nexus Mortgage Group, he is dedicated to guiding clients through every aspect of the lending process—from home purchases and refinances to HELOCs and everything mortgage-related. His focus is on simplifying what can often feel like an overwhelming experience by breaking down each step, answering questions clearly, and ensuring clients feel informed and confident in their decisions.
The most rewarding part of Matthew’s work is seeing individuals and families reach their goals and knowing he played a role in helping them get there.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and he always makes time for his dog. He is also a twin—a defining part of his life that has deeply shaped his sense of connection, empathy, and support. Growing up with a twin continues to influence how he approaches both his personal life and professional work every day.
